Announcement of the general election of YG Health Insurance Society committee members
 

Dear insured policy holders,
 

The election of committee members by mutual vote to take place in the first fiscal year of the YG Health Insurance Society, which was established on April 1, 2018, shall be held as follows. We ask those who wish to be candidates to please notify the election head of their intention as instructed below.

Please be advised that if the number of candidates is equal to the set number of openings (seven), no election will take place and the committee shall be comprised of those candidates as specified in the “Rules for Electing Society Committee Members.

1. Date and time voting:
From 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Thursday April 19, 2018
 

2. Date and time of vote counting:
Starting at 5:15 pm on Thursday April 19, 2018
 

3. Location of election and vote counting:
Election shall be conducted through a voting system.
 

4. Number of committee members to be elected:
7
 

5. Term of elected members:
Three years, from April 19, 2018 until April 18, 2021

If you wish to be a candidate for the mutual vote election, please provide notification as instructed in the outline below.
 

6. Qualifications for candidacy:
To be an insured policy holder of the YG Health Insurance Society, complete the procedure for candidacy during the acceptance period, and have notices of recommendation
(Excluding those overseas for periods of three months or longer)
 

7. Notification of candidacy:
Fill out the required items on the designated notification for committee candidacy, and submit it to the YG Health Insurance Society. Recommendation from 20 or more YG Health Insurance Society insured policy holders is required to become a candidate. Please submit the designated recommendation notices signed by the recommenders along with your notification for committee candidacy. * You cannot recommend yourself. Please also note that one insured policy holder cannot recommend candidacy of two or more potential candidates.

8. Period of acceptance:
From 9:00 am Monday April 9 until 5:00 pm Friday April 13, 2018 When sending by post, must be postmarked within this timeframe

10. Committee meetings:
Those elected as committee members are involved in the management of the health insurance society through participation in two meetings each year (July and February). Please note that the first committee meeting is scheduled for April 24.
